Forklift New Entrant

This 3-day Forklift Training Course aims to educate the delegate on the safe operation of the forklift. The practical element to the course involves the pre-inspection of forklift by the delegates.

A 2–day course is also available for new entrants with experience.  A signed declaration confirming experience must be received prior to course commencement.

Who Should Attend:

This course is designed for those who are required to operate a forklift in their workplace.

Participants per course:

Maximum of 3 participants.

Course Duration:

2-3 days depending on experience (2 days for experienced operators).

Signed declaration by operator confirming experience must be submitted prior to completing training.

Course Content:

• Legislation
• Code of Practice for Forklift Trucks 2002
• Types and components of forklift trucks
• Forklift truck stability and instability
• Safe operation of forklift

Practical Demonstration:

There is a practical demonstration on the pre inspection of forklift including a driving test for the trainees.

Certification:

Participants, who successfully complete the course, will receive certification from an RTITB registered tutor.

Certification Validity Period:

The Certificate is valid for three years.
