AED (automated external defibrillator) with Covid-19: This Course provided by Corribview Safety Services is designed to teach the basic techniques of Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), how to use an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) and the relief of choking for adults, children and infants. You can play a vital role in keeping a person alive until they receive expert clinical care. In the event that emergency care is required in the workplace it may not be possible to maintain a distance of 2 metres. Workers with a specific role in responding to an emergency should be provided with updated training on AED (automated external defibrillator) with Covid-19 including performance of hand hygiene and appropriate use of personal protective equipment when delivering first aid. This training course has been developed to meet the additional training requirements of the Return to Work Safely Protocol.
This training will be delivered online and requires a computer/device connected to the internet and is running on a web browser. The course contains audio so participants will require headphones or speakers plugged into the computer or device to listen to it.
The course covers 5 topics as required by the Covid-19 Specific National Protocol for Employers and Workers. Approximate duration 1.5 hours.
After completing all topics, participants will take an assessment to test their knowledge. Once each assessment for each topic is completed, participants can proceed to download a certificate of completion. This should be available for inspection if required.
35.00 Euro per person
